Gordon C. Pollock Sr.

October 24, 1944 – September 25, 2022

Gordon C. Pollock Sr., 77, a longtime resident of Arnold, passed away on September 25.

He was born to Harry and Thelma Pollock of Baltimore on October 24, 1944.

Gordon graduated from Glen Burnie High School and later went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army until 1971.  In the following years he was employed at AT&T as an executive manager until 1998.  He then spent some years working as a realtor for Champion Realty.

Gordon and his wife Alice married on June 8, 1968.  They were happily married for 48 years.

He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  He enjoyed boating, working on his classic 1964 Mustang with his two sons, photography, watching the Orioles play, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two sons, Gordon Pollock Jr. and wife Karen Pollock of Arnold, MD, and George Pollock and wife Kristen Pollock of Severna Park, MD; Sister, Naomi Eveleth and her husband Brian Eveleth Sr. of Severna Park, MD; and four grandchildren, Ashley, Alexis, Caroline, and Ayden.  He is predeceased by his wife Alice.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD 21146.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
