Gloria Ann Priebe, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 26, 2022. She was born on November 3, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Ross and Pauline Anello. Gloria attended Lutheran High School in Cleveland.
Everyone loved Gloria. She was a ray of sunshine and got along with everyone. She had a beautiful infectious smile. Gloria was the first Homecoming Queen at Lutheran High School in Cleveland. She enjoyed cheerleading and playing basketball. Gloria was a homemaker and enjoyed her time with family and friends. She was a den mother for her son's Cub Scout troop while living in Sandusky, Ohio. She was an exceptional seamstress who loved sewing and crocheting. She enjoyed playing the piano, which she did often. She also enjoyed camping and boating. Cooking and baking were always her passion. She also enjoyed afternoons relaxing by the pool.
Gloria was an active member of St Paul's Lutheran Church in Glen Burnie and often helped with church bake sales. She also attended Gloria Dei! Lutheran Church in Arnold, Maryland.
Gloria loved being a Mom and was devoted to her family. She was committed to her kids and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by the father of her children Ray Priebe of Berlin MD; Her sons Scott Priebe (Melissa) of Berlin MD, Mark Priebe of Severna Park Md and daughter Kelly (Mike) Clifford of Sunset Beach NC; her sister Eileen Anello of Tampa FL; as well as her 4 grandchildren Amanda Fields (Mike) of Severna Park MD, Mark Priebe (Ryan) of Baltimore MD, Lauren Priebe of Los Angeles, CA, and Steven Stonecypher of Hinesville GA and 3 Great Grandchildren Penelope, Piper, and Hunter of Severna Park. She was also godmother to Tracy Pitz of Tampa FL and had 5 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Pauline Anello; brother Ronald Anello; and sister Joanne Zienka.
Family and friends are welcome to attend visitation and services on Friday April 1st at Gloria Dei! Lutheran Church 461 College Parkway Arnold, Maryland 21012. Visitation will be from 2-4PM followed by a memorial service starting at 4PM with food and refreshments in the fellowship hall afterwards.
