Gloria Jean Goodman passed peacefully on July 15, 2022. She was born to Jack and Gloria Sapienza on August 22, 1944, in Washington DC. She was raised in Takoma Park, MD, where she attended Regina High School and received her Bachelors in Business Administration at the University of Maryland. Gloria was extremely passionate about her career and proud of her work as Business Manager for Hubble Space Telescope. She loved cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Goodman and is survived by daughters Lisa Jones and husband Alvin and Michelle Kellenbenz and husband Bryant. She is also survived by Grandchildren Jessica Dixon, Joshua Kellenbenz, Anthony Jones, Kyle Jones, Michael Jones, and great grandchildren Bryce and Blake Dixon and Theo and Emma Kellenbenz. She will also be missed by her siblings Angela Marker, Basil Sapienza, Harry Sapienza and Jenny Roberts.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 4pm-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. The funeral service will be held the following day at 12pm at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensberg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722.

The family will be gathering after services at 1011 Harting Farm Drive, Arnold MD 21012 to honor Gloria's legacy with stories, memories, love and laughter.
