Gloria L. Fox, 78, of Severna Park, died of complications of cancer Dec. 11 at her home after a brief illness.

Mrs. Fox was born March 7, 1926, and raised in Wilson, N.Y. She also lived in New York City for 10 years and then Westfield, N.J., for 40 years.

A homemaker, she enjoyed collecting replicas of foxes and entertaining her friends.

She was the widow of Allan Fox.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith Fox Fletcher of Severna Park; one brother, David Hazen of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Carolyn Carter of Lockport, N.Y., and Barbara Gouviea of Elmira, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be private.
