Gloria Andrews (née Korn) of Leesburg, Virginia, has been called home to her Heavenly Father after her recent battle with Alzheimer's Disease on October 11, 2024.

Gloria was born in Union City, New Jersey, on May 5th,1930. The second child of Murray & Margaret Korn (née Beenatz), it was here she lived with her parents and her brothers Charles Korn and Douglas Korn.

She began her working career in New Jersey as a Neonatal Nurse before changing career paths and becoming a Credit Union Associate for the CIA in Vienna, Virginia. It was here that she would eventually retire. Before relocating to Vienna, she raised her two sons Richard and Steven with her husband Theodore Andrews (married Dec. 7th, 1952) in Fairlawn, New Jersey.

Gloria was a choral singer at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church for many years, and enjoyed singing immensely. She was also a member of the Encore Choral Group, where she got to sing at the Kennedy Center. She enjoyed going on cruises, and spending time with her family and friends, where she regaled them with stories from her childhood and her years of work.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Andrews, her eldest son Richard Andrews, and her elder brother Charles and his wife Marguerite Korn. She is survived by her son Steve and his wife Ginger (née Hayes), her grandchildren Dria Hayden (husband Andy Trovinger) and Matt Andrews (wife Holly - née Moore), as well as her brother Douglas Korn, niece Karla Shephard, nephew Dr. Charles J. Korn, and her great-grandchildren Nova and Julianna Hayden.

Gloria Ellen Andrews will be laid to rest with her husband and eldest son in a private graveside service in Vienna, Virginia.
