Gisela Erika Florander, 90, of Severna Park, Maryland passed away on October 24, 2017. Gisela was born June 2, 1927 in Hamburg, Germany and was raised in Bremen, Germany.

Gisela graduated from Jason High School in Bremen, Germany, then attended Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. From there, she went on to become a realtor with Coldwell Banker Realtors in Severna Park, Maryland.

Ms. Florander was a member of P.E.O. and Severna Park Presbyterian Church. In her work life, she was a member of GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), and DSAC (Distinguished Sales Achievement Club) as a lifetime member. Gisela enjoyed traveling, oil painting, journaling, reading and sharing stories of life during WWII (1938-1946) in Germany. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her church family.

Gisela is survived by her son, N. Eric Florander, daughter-in-law Debbie Florander, daughter Sue Lindahl, son-in-law Craig Lindahl, daughter Christine Hill, son-in-law Brian Hill and, seven grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10am in the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061
