Ginny Elaine Sells passed away in her home in Severna Park on August 29, 2025. Born in Texas on Septemer 18, 1951 to Charles and Harriette Sells (both of whom predeceased her), Ginny, an only child who never married and is without issue, lived an interesting though introverted life with her beloved cats. (She was the mother to many cats over the years and at one point had seven cats living with her).

Ginny and her parents moved early on from Texas to Glen Burnie, Maryland, eventually coming to reside in Severna Park in 1959. Ginny graduated from Severna Park high school in 1969 and went on to obtain her Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. Later, Ginny went on to obtain her Master's degree from the University of San Francisco. Ginny was bright and full of insight. She worked in the environmental field in both the private and government sectors. While choosing to live a quiet life, Ginny had a strong catholic faith and a kind heart. She was always concerned about the poor, the unborn and the marginalized and she was a benefactor to many worthy charitable organizations. She was a student of Church history, loved animals (not just her cats), did copious amounts of volunteer work, and was, paradoxically, a rabid baseball fan. She is survived by distant relatives and friends.
