Gerard "Archie" Lloyd, 57, of Pasadena, died of cancer Dec. 23 at home after a three-week illness.
Born Feb. 18, 1947, in Baltimore and reared in Arnold, Mr. Lloyd served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a light truck driver.
He worked for Goodmann as a truck driver for the past two years and previously for Rands for 32 years.
He was an avid pet lover.
Surviving are his wife, Veronica Lloyd of Pasadena; two sons, Gerard Lloyd Jr. of Severna Park and Richard Lloyd of Crownsville; two daughters, Tammy Taylor of Forest Hill in Harford County and Kimberly Shinnamon of Pasadena; one brother, Joseph Lloyd of Baltimore; two sisters, Gloria Finglass of Monkton in Baltimore County and Patricia Vucannon of Louisiana; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
