Geraldine (Gerry) Walsh, 100, a 58 year resident of Severna Park, MD passed away on February 23, 2026, in Annapolis, MD after a brief illness. She was born on February 10, 1926, in West Pittston, Pennsylvania where she was raised by her parents, John and Jennie (Shard) Pugliese.

Gerry attended Bucknell Junior College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and would go on to have a long and successful career with the National Security Agency as a Project Officer. She was a long time parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Severna Park, an avid reader, loved spending time on the beach, but most of all she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Gerry is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joseph John Walsh, and her daughter, Sharon Walsh.

She is survived by her children, Michael Walsh (Denise) of Ft. Myers, FL., and Maura Arndt (Kevin) of Millersville, MD; her granddaughters, Katherine Arndt, Jenna Arndt, Rachel Walsh, and Lauren Walsh.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a prayer service starting at 6:30 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be held privately in the Maryland Veteran Cemetery in Crownsville.
