Geraldine Ann Micken (nee Harrison), 83, a two-year resident of Grasonville and a former resident of Glen Burnie for 42 years, passed away on May 1, 2016 at Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, due to natural causes.

She was born on February 7, 1933 in Stevensville and was raised in Baltimore, where she graduated from high school. Geraldine was a homemaker and she enjoyed traveling. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her last two years of life, she lived in Grasonville with her daughter, Brenda and Jack.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Micken; parents, Willard and Mary Evelyn Harrison; and her sister, Norma Johnson.
She is survived by her four children, Gary Micken (Jan) of Chestertown, Deborah Micken Clark (Wes) of Annapolis, Brenda Micken Rash (Jack) of Grasonville, and Donald Micken (Phyllis) of Stevensville; two sisters, Annette Edmonds (Jack) and Karen Moorhouse (Scott); eight grandchildren, Michael Rash, Jr. (Heidi), Jennifer Clark Jones (Rick), Stephanie Clark Shaw (James), Matthew Micken (Kate), Donald Micken, Jr., Martin Micken, Holly Davis and Jason Vanhoose (Leah); and nine great grandchildren, James Shaw, Jr., Samantha Shaw, Brooke Shaw, Adalynn Micken, Alden Micken, Josh Garcia, Lani Davis, Ryan Vanhoose and Drew Vanhoose.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 11 am-12 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, with a Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 pm, following the visitation. Interment will be at MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
