Geraldine "Jerry" B. Clutz, 81, of Baltimore, died at her son's home on March 9, 2010 due to cancer.

She was born to her parents Bill and Hilda Hess Snyder on September 7, 1928 in Baltimore, where she was also raised. Mrs. Clutz lived in Severna Park for nine years and Arnold for forty years, prior to returning to Baltimore two years ago.

Mrs. Clutz was a homemaker and a mother to nine children. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 175 in Severna Park and had coached the youth bowling program at Severna Park Lanes. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, reading and game shows. She was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.

Mrs. Clutz was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Clutz, Sr., her daughter, Diane Clutz, her son, Michael Clutz, Sr., her twin sister, Laverne Scott, her sister, Skip Stinchcomb, and her brother, John H. Snyder. She is survived by her sons, Richard Clutz, Jr. and (Deborah) of Severna Park, Steven Clutz and (Brenda) of Crownsville and Jay Clutz and (Walt) of Baltimore; her daughters, Ronnie Lloyd of Pasadena, Regina Shumway and (EK) of Pasadena, Bonnie Smith and (Ed) of Greensboro, and Kathleen Osborn and (Jimmy) of Ridgely; her daughter-in-law, Rosemary Clutz of Severna Park; her sisters, Dolores Volker of Goldsboro, and Shirley Clayton of Greenville, TN; as well as, 26 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 9:00am. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
