Geraldine Marie Brooks, 79, of Annapolis, died of heart failure May 27 at Future Care-Chesapeake in Arnold after a brief illness.
Mrs. Brooks was born May 27, 1927, and reared in Baltimore and also lived in the Carney area of Baltimore County. She worked as a secretary for various businesses and enjoyed gardening.
The widow of Thomas A. Brooks, she is survived by her brother, Oliver R. Bell of Annapolis.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, followed by the funeral at 8 p.m. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
