George P Sharpe, 81, 40 year resident of Glen Burnie passed away peacefully at home with family members at his bedside on January 2nd after a brief illness.
He was born July 25, 1927 in Canada where he still has family members.
Mr. Sharpe is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 55 years and his children Kevin Sharpe of Glen Burnie, Catherine Sharpe of Iowa, Mary Phelps of Indiana, Tracey Berry of Millersville, his sister Mary Fellows of Toronto, Canada, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Flower City Masonic Lodge in Brampton, Ontario.
Family and friends may visit from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday(January 7th)at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday 11am. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake at 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
