George Ebersberger, Jr. (81) passed away peacefully at his home on September 7, 2025, surrounded by love and comfort. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, to George H. Ebersberger, Sr. and Althea W. Ebersberger, he grew up in Severna Park, graduated from the University of Maryland, and remained a lifelong Maryland resident.

George lived a life marked by quiet strength, generosity, and a playful sense of humor. He treasured life's simple joys—family, a good cup of coffee, and decades of golf as a member of Chartwell Golf and Country Club. He spent countless hours on the course laughing and teasing friends. His easygoing nature, friendly spirit, and sharp wit made him a favorite playing partner and a true friend to many. He was also a devoted fan of the Terps, Orioles, and Ravens.

Professionally, George built a respected career in the insurance industry, working alongside family to grow and lead Ebersberger & Associates with integrity, diligence, and care.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary V. Ebersberger; daughters, Denice Ebersberger Rulo and Lorie Ebersberger; grandsons, Andrew, Jacob, and Lucas; and his brother, Arthur D. Ebersberger (Judy). He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Michael Ebersberger.

George's memory will live on in the laughter he inspired and the love he shared with all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anne Arundel Community College Foundation, the SPCA, or the American Cancer Society.
