Genevieve Vitek

Genevieve M. Vitek, 68, of Arnold, died of cancer April 19 at home after a nine-month illness.

Mrs. Vitek was born Feb. 2, 1938, and reared in Paris, France.

She worked as assistant cafeteria manager from 1977 to 1987 at Severn River Junior High, Magothy Middle and Belvedere Elementary schools.

Her interests included growing roses, gardening, shopping and camping on Solomons Island. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph W. Vitek; one son, Eric R. Vitek of Arnold; one daughter, Francine E. Eastman of Louisburg, N.C.; and one grandchild.

The funeral and burial are private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
