Geneva Darlene Shortridge, 83, of Arnold, MD, passed away on September 21, 2018. She was born on October 29, 1934 to Charles and Gertrude Thompson in West Virginia.

She is survived by her daughters, Susie (Doug) Smith of Woodinville, WA, and Jimmi (Lawre) Buys of Emmett, ID; her sons, Rick (Barb) Shortridge of Pasadena, MD, and Dave (Terri) Shortridge of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Shortridge, her daughters Brenda (Mike) Lawler and Candi (Kent) Carpenter and her sisters Dorothy Dillon and JeElla McCoy.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, September 24 from 5-8pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial to follow to Glen Haven Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.
