Geneva "Pat" Yvonne Seitz, 72, a resident of Ocean City, MD for 13 years, died on August 24 at Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, due to breast cancer.

She was born October 29, 1935 in Smith Island, MD and was raised in Dundalk, MD.

She married her husband Valentine John Seitz, Sr. on September 21, 1951.

Mrs. Seitz was a retired keypunch operator for Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point.

She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed walking, riding her bike, crocheting, needlepoint, and playing card games.

Survivors include her husband Valentine John Seitz, Sr. of Ocean City, MD; son, Valentine John Seitz Jr. of Baltimore, MD; daughter, Shirl Y. Buell of Arnold, MD; brother, Steve Marsh of Glen Burnie, MD; three sisters, Lois Zinkhan, Diana Evans, and Tinker Everly; three grandchildren, Carissa Harvey, John V. Seitz, and Michael Smith; and one great granddaughter, Brianna Harvey.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, August 28, from 4-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be on Friday, August 29 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
