Gary E. Rand, 50, of Severna Park, MD passed away suddenly of natural causes on October 24, 2015 at his residence. Gary was born in Baltimore on June 30, 1965 to his parents George and Sandra Rand. He was raised in Brooklyn Park and later moved with his family to Severna Park in 1982.

Gary graduated from Strayer University and went on to become an Accountant. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Baltimore Ravens. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Gary is survived by his parents, George E. Rand, Jr. & Sandra L. Rand; one sister, Lori Young (Mike) and two nephews Calvin & Nathan Hurlock; and his best buddy "Sammie" a Cocker Spaniel.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org)
