Gary "Fuzzy" William Lenz, 61, passed away on July 1, 2015 at Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood. Beloved father, husband, brother, and friend to many, Gary Lenz was a true artist, a man of all trades and a Stone Mason Extraordinaire. Gary was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 2, 1954, the son of William and Consetta Lenz. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lee Lenz; four daughters, Courtney, Brittney, Marcy and Laney Lenz; sister, Carol Lenz; and brother, Gregory Lenz. One of his greatest joys in life came from raising his four beautiful daughters. He was extremely proud of each one for their personal, athletic, collegiate, and professional accomplishments. He was a prodigious husband to Jenny for over 30 years and they shared a wonderful life together.

When not spending time with his family, Gary's devotion was to his career and business. There wasn't anything he could not do or fix. He was the definition of a perfectionist. He was a Stone Mason for over 30 years, and with multiple opportunities to hire more employees, not once did he have more than four people working with him. He had to do the job himself to make sure it was done right. This is what kept his business successful for years, his admirable work ethic and masonry talent.

"The pain, agony, and embarrassment of a bad job, linger long after the sting of a fair price for quality craftsmanship." – One of Gary's favorite quotes.

Not only was he a Stone Mason Extraordinaire, he was also an amazing drummer. Gary played with some great bands in Baltimore during the 70s and 80s, including Satin Doll, Taurus, White Noise and The Feds, to name a few. He was a consummate musician and band leader, and his music touched many throughout the years.

He is remembered for his love of fishing and being out on the Bay. Gary was able to build his waterfront dream home, which the family moved into in 1997. A beautiful house on the Magothy River in Anne Arundel County, it is full of his meticulous and exquisite stone work. It was his pride and joy, and whenever he had the chance, he could be found out on the pier or on his boat fishing.
