Gary R. Burroughs, 65, a 40-year resident of Severna Park, died on April 13, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
He was born on March 11, 1947 in New Jersey and was raised in Brooklyn Park, MD.
Gary was employed with PepsiCo. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He enjoyed bicycling, exercising, kayaking, swimming, gardening , fishing , and playing the lotto.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pennie Burroughs; two sisters, Mary Faulkner and Joanne Sowards; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
