Gail Lee Helferstay, June 9, 1954 – August 10, 2022

Gail was a loving daughter and loving aunt to her nephews and nieces. She enjoyed spending time with family and cheering from the sidelines of their many athletic events. She was born June 9, 1954 in Baltimore, MD and passed away peacefully at her home in Severna Park on August 10, 2022. She grew up in Severna Park and graduated from Severna Park High School. She went on to a career in the banking industry and retired in December 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Clara Helferstay. She is survived by her brother Jeff Helferstay (Janet), her sisters Susan Taylor and Patricia O'Neil (Richard). She is also survived by 5 nephews, a niece and great-niece.

Memorial service will be held at Barranco Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2022 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
