Freeman Hill
Freeman E. Hill, 76, of Osprey, Fla., and Severna Park, died of complications of surgery Oct. 18 at University Hospital in Baltimore after a brief illness.
Mr. Hill was born March 9, 1930, and reared in Poskin, Wis., and was a past resident of Greensburg, Pa. During the Korean War he served in the Army.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in chemical engineering in 1952 and retired as an engineer from Westinghouse. He was a member of the Senior Council of Retired Executives.
An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers football team, he also loved boating, boat building, golf and vacationing at Indian Lake, Pa.
The widower of Evelyn A. Hill, he is survived by his children, Valerie Hill of Akron, Ohio, Gary Hill of Eagle, Colo., Janet Hill of Odenton and Caroline Hill of Severna Park; one brother, Ralph Jay Hill of Osprey; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will follow. Burial will be private.
