Fred Louis Seymore, 77, of Odenton, died of cancer Jan. 24 at North Arundel Hospital after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Big Stone Gap, Va., Mr. Seymore previously resided in Ocala, Fla., and was retired from the Mason-Dixon Trucking Co.
He served in the Army during World War II.
An avid reader, he also enjoyed baseball.
Surviving are three daughters, Peggy Harris of Baltimore, Patricia Phillips of Severna Park and Sandra Cartlidge of Orlando, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Mid-Atlantic Division, Inc. 1041 Route 3 North, Building A, Gambrills MD 21054.
