Franklin C. Wilson, 71, a resident of Preston for two years and previously of Cape St. Claire and Riva, died of cancer Aug. 27 at Easton Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Wilson was born Oct. 20, 1936, in Cheverly and was raised in Brentwood.
He was a parts driver for Annapolis Auto Parts.
He enjoyed hunting and boating.
Survivors include two sons, Franklin C. Wilson Jr. of Huntingtown and James C. Wilson of Davidsonville; two daughters, Kathy Ann Kirker of Centreville and Genesa M. Johnston of Pasadena; two brothers, John J. Wilson of Cape St. Claire and William H. Wilson of Preston; one sister, Betty Halley of Sparta, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Family and friends may visit at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
