Frank Pless, 84, husband of Charlotte Peggy Poiter Pless (deceased), of Anne Arundel County, died peacefully in his sleep April 28, 2011 at his home.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Dorsey and her husband, Lloyd of Glen Burnie, MD.
Frank was born on June 17, 1926 in Locust Point, Maryland and resided in and around Baltimore with a break to serve honorably in Europe during WWII. A confirmed bachelor, he was an avid tennis player until wedding Peggy in 1983 and enjoyed polka dancing, German lessons and travel together with her until her passing in 2009. He was a sports fan, political observer, convert to Catholicism and enjoyed spending time with his step-children; John Joseph Poiter, Mary Anne Diez, Charlotte Denise Jones, Dolores Lynn Wood- Bell, and Peggy Thecla Matters of AA County, Gerard Edward Poiter of Phoenix, MD, Michael Thomas Poiter of Frederick, MD and Kathleen Lucille Feaga of Houston, TX and Peggy's 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at BARRANCO & SONS, P.A. SEVERNA PARK FUNERAL HOME, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146, 410-647-2400. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1451 Furnace Avenue, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM.
