Frank Brokus passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on December 16, 2021 at Sunrise Senior Living of Severna Park at the age of 82. Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara "BJ" Brokus. He is survived by his daugher, Sherry Brokus and husband, Jim Patton of Austin, TX; Granddaughter, Meaghan and Husband, Blake Edwards of Las Vegas, NV; James Brokus, brother and wife Valerie;  Helene Schaefer, sister;  Melvin Brokus, brother and wife Marge; Wesley Snowden, brother-in-law; Sheila Gianette, sister in law;  and 27 nieces and nephews.

Frank started work at the young age of 14 sweeping the hulls of ships on the ports of Locust Point in Baltimore. As an older teen, he worked beside his father, both Stevedores unloading cargo off docked ships. In his early 20's, he began his 33 year career at Bethlehem Steel. He retired as a General Supervisor in 1989.  At the age of 50, he ventured into his second career and passion of home design. He was a "House Doctor" who created others' dream homes. His hobbies were his love of collecting trains, gardening and spending time on the water with his family and friends boating and crabbing on the Severn River. Frank was a member of St John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church since 1960.
