Francis P. Wrobel passed away on December 26, 2016. Francis was born on October 19, 1926. He was raised in Baltimore, Maryland (Curtis Bay) and resided in Pasadena, Maryland and Annapolis, Maryland as well. He married his wife Dorothy V. on May 19th, 1951.

Francis attended Southern High School, Gettysburg College and received a law degree from the University of Baltimore. He worked for the State of Maryland and retired from the United States Army Reserve as a Major. He was the past president of the Curtis Bay Athletic Club, a member of the Ashrose Golf Club and a member of Stoney Creek Democratic Club. His other hobbies included golfing, crabbing, travel, gardening and spending time with his five grandchildren over the last 35 years.

Francis was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy V. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl M. Wrobel of Gambrills, MD and Suzanne W. Meader of Sterling, VA; his son, Steven F. (Natasha V.) of Odenton, MD; and five grandchildren, Briana Meader of Catonsville, MD; Jonathan Meader of Fort Wayne, IN; Annalise, Kalena, and Nathaniel Wrobel of Odenton, MD.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 2-4 pm  and 6-8pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 4708 Prudence Street Baltimore, MD 21226. A burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
