IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Flossie "Flo"
T. Randall
October 9, 1934 – September 29, 2020
Flossie Taylor Randall "Flo", age 85, of Arnold, died on Tuesday September 29th, after a short but brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the devoted wife, of just days short of fifty years, to the late Robert T. Randall "Bob" and mother to Raymond T. Randall (wife Teresa) and Russell T. Randall. She was the grandmother to Ryan, Rachel, Robin and Andrew Randall.
Born in Stockton MD, she is the eldest child of William Basil and Laura Taylor and sister to the late Patricia Kelleher, Francis Taylor, Richard Taylor and survived by brother Gerald "Hoot" Taylor. She attended Bel Air High School Class of '53 and went on to become a Registered Nurse. She worked for Maryland General Hospital where she made the newspaper for treating an injured police officer in the late 50's. Later, she worked for Baltimore City Health Department as a traveling social worker and health inspector.
After taking time off to raise her boys, she worked for a Dr. Cullis, a Severna Park doctor's office as a nurse, did some child daycare in the Arnold home, cared for Bob's mother and her mother each for several years until they both passed. She also cared for Bob during his own battle with cancer
She enjoyed traveling with Bob, who worked for The Dodge Company, as he visited funeral homes in the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia areas, as well as attending State and National Conventions. She even did some international travel to Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and England
In her later years, she was an active member of the Asbury UMC of Arnold women's groups, Severna Park Meals on Wheels, and the Anne Arundel Historical Society. Most recently she was an active resident of the Brightview Senior Living community in Severna Park. Even though she was a resident for just over a year, she seemed to have made her mark there with the staff and other residents.
