Florence V. Ward, 87, of Pasadena, died Aug. 13 at Memorial Hospital in Easton from complications of a stroke after an illness of two weeks.
Born Nov. 14, 1919 in Pasadena to the late Florence and Ernest Sappington, Mrs. Ward was a lifelong resident of the community.
She is survived by one son, Ronald Calvin Ward of Stevensville; and two granddaughters. She was married to James Calvin Ward who died in 1989.
Her hobbies were gardening, baking and cooking.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home where the funeral service will be at noon Friday.
Burial will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.
