Florence B. Semmig, 81, of Annapolis, died of heart failure June 6 at her home.
Born Oct. 16, 1923, and educated in Albany, N.Y., Mrs. Semmig graduated from Western High School in Washington, D.C. She worked in administration for the International Brotherhood of Firemen and Oilers.
A homemaker, she lived in Washington until 1967 and then moved to Kensington. She also resided in Florida before coming to Annapolis. She enjoyed visiting family and friends.
Her husband, L.M. Parker, is deceased.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Ann Parker of Annapolis and Patricia Lyn Stolman of Hollywood, Calif.; and one son, Stanley Zaks of Annapolis.
Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery, North Capitol Street in Washington. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhme.com
