Florence P. Redmond, 74, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Florence was a resident of Arnold, MD for over 49 years. Florence was born on September 24, 1940 to Oscar and Lillian Jones and was raised in Baltimore. One of her favorite pastimes was working with ceramics.

Florence is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Samuel Redmond. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Mellisa Mayo and a cherished grandmother to Amber and Jacob Mayo. She was a caring sister to her sister, Marie Horney, and her brothers, George Jones and James Jones.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Thursday September 10, 2015 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
