Evelyn M. Petr (nee Sullivan), 82, a past resident of Cape St. Clair for 36 years, died on June 26, 2008, of Advanced Parkinson's after a 2 ½ month illness, at home in Parrish, Florida.

Mrs. Petr was born August 12, 1925 in Baltimore, MD where she was raised. She lived in Cape St.Clair for 36 years and in Parrish, Florida for the past 2 years.

She was a retired news carrier for the Capital Newspaper for 25 years.

She enjoyed helping other people and was a member of the St. Andrew by the Bay, since the founding of the Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory J. Petr, Sr.; her son, Gilbert T. Petr; late brother, John Sullivan and late sister, Dorothy Sansone.

Survivors include one son, Gregory J. Petr, Jr. of Severna Park, MD, one daughter, Paula M. Guyer of Parrish, Florida; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, July 1 and Wednesday, July 2.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 3 at St. Andrew by the Bay, 701 College Parkway in Annapolis, MD.

Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
