Evelyn Paxton
Evelyn F. Paxton, 90, of Annapolis, died of a stroke Dec. 21 at the Ginger Cove Health Center in Annapolis.
A homemaker, she was born and raised and in Washington, D.C., and was a 40-year resident of Annapolis. She was a past volunteer at the Anne Arundel Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health.
She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
She was married to the late Paul E. Paxton and preceded in death by one son, Peter P. Paxton. Survivors include two daugthers, Sandra P. Hobart of Healdsburg, Calif., and Cheryl P. Egan of Arnold; two sons, Gerald A. Paxton of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., and Donald J. Paxton of Cape St. Claire; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitaton and services will be private. A private burial will take place at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
