Evelyn Virginia Nelson passed away peacefully on January 1, 2014. Evelyn was born in Calvert County, MD on August 21, 1923. She resided in Severna Park, MD where she enjoyed walking, gardening and especially spending time with family and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband William Harold "Skip" Nelson and a son, Harold Wayne Nelson. She is survived by her children John W. Nelson and wife Bonna; Linda Leah Nelson-Lewis; Gary Lee Nelson and wife Judy; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Trinity Bible Church, Severna Park, MD. Reception at the church will follow. Interment will be at 2:30 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Bible Church, 99 Truck House Rd., Severna Park, MD. 21146.
