Evelyn Zubulis Kiriazoglou, of Severna Park, passed away on December 1, 2020.

Evelyn was born on Friday August 13th 1937 in Gary Indiana. She moved to Baltimore with her parents Nicholas and Eva Zubulis in 1945. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1955.

Evelyn married the love of her life George Kiriazoglou in April of 1958. Evelyn and George raised their 4 children Eva Maria, Angelo, Kathy and Jimmy in Severna Park Maryland. Evelyn loved unconditionally and always put her family first. She retired from the State of Maryland Health Department in 1999.

Evelyn loved to cook and always wanted to make sure everyone had enough food to eat. She was always encouraged to write a cookbook. She accepted the challenge and wrote and published..."If you can Read You Can Cook". It has become the cooking bible for so many of her family and friends.

Evelyn is survived by her four children Eva Maria Kiriazoglou, Angelo Kiriazoglou (Kim) Kathy Kiriazoglou-Cole (Bruce) and Jim Kiriazoglou (Kim); nine grandchildren, Megan Kiriazoglou, George Kiriazoglou, Katie Kiriazogolou, Allie King, Camille King, Luke King, Eva Kiriazoglou, Owen Kiriazoglou and Jaime Kiriazoglou and two great grandsons, Kylan and Wyatt Kiriazoglou.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband George in 1993; her three sisters, Marion Proakis, Argie Hajimihalis, Catherine Matthews.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to request contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Annapolis MD. The funeral mass and burial will be private due to the coronavirus pandemic.
