Evelyn Margaret Butler, 84, passed away on November 15, 2020 in Severna Park, MD.
Evelyn was born to Evelyn (nee Carter) and William Gerland on June 20, 1936 in Catonsville, MD.
She moved from Catonsville to Arnold, MD in 1951. In their local neighborhood, Belvedere Beach, she met her husband, Milford E. Butler. She graduated from Annapolis Senior High School. Evelyn married Milford on April 2, 1954. They had a long and loving marriage of 57 years, raising their 4 children. She was a longtime and active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glen Burnie.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Milford E. Butler, in 2011 and her granddaughter, Lauren Zaloudek in 2017.
She is survived by her son, Robert Butler (Barbara), of Arnold, MD; son, Donald Butler (Sarah), of Annapolis, MD; son, Danny Butler, of Bowie, MD; daughter, Rebecca Zaloudek (Michael), of Severna Park; six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heartlands Assisted Living at Severna Park, for the loving care they provided to Evelyn for the past three years of her life.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a public funeral service on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 12:30pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. The burial will be private, for family only.
