Evana Marie Danner, 60, passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2022 in Bridgeville Delaware with her loving husband by her side.

Evana was born on August 16, 1962 in Fort Leonardwood Missouri. She was raised by her mother Mary and father Joe Rex DeShurley Sr. along with a younger brother, Joe Rex Jr. At 8 weeks old, Vony was diagnosed with a hole in her heart. The doctors told Mary and Joe that she would have a one in a million chance of living. Evana passed away after 60 years with that same heart. You can say she was one in a million.

Evana graduated from the University of Missouri with a Masters in Accounting and achieved her CPA license. She was a part of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Evana worked for the U.S. Army Audit Agency as a GS-15 auditor. Evana was dedicated to her job, a hard worker, and loved by many of her coworkers. Evana retired form the U.S. Army Audit Agency in 2018 after 31 1/2 years of service.

Evana is survived by her husband Donald Danner, 34 years of marriage and her two beautiful daughters Brittany and Jacquelyn Danner. Evana enjoyed her life to the fullest. She enjoyed bowling, going to the casino with her husband/friends, movies with her daughters and learning new games suchas Pinochle, Mahjong and Super Samba with the ladies in the Bridgeville community.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. The funeral mass will be held the following day, Friday, October 14, 2022 at 12:00pm at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park MD, 21146. The interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W Central Ave Davidsonville MD, 21035.
