Eugene E. Colleran, 88, passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2015 with his family by his side.

He was born on September 19, 1926 in Baltimore. Eugene married Catherine Colleran on June 18, 1949 and moved to Severna Park in 1960.

Eugene was a production manager for McCormick Spice Company, retiring after a career of 45 years.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Eugene enjoyed taking cruises and loved being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Colleran, and his siblings, Buddy Colleran, Thomas Colleran, Catherine Raymond, Anna Hermansdorfer and Dorothy McKinnon.

Eugene is survived by his two daughters, Deborah Nichols and her husband Robert of Severna Park and Kathleen Colleran- Nossick and her husband Charles of Severna Park, three grandchildren, Kevin Nichols, Megan Creel, Brian Nichols and one great- granddaughter, Cali Creel. He was also survived by two brothers Joseph Colleran and Martin Colleran, of Towson.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
