Ethel M. Warner, 90, of Annapolis, died of heart failure Jan. 30 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mrs. Warner was born Sept. 11, 1915, in Arkansas, and reared in Vian, Okla. In 1939 she moved to Oakland, Calif., and married Robert H. Warner in November 1951. She lived in San Leandro, Calif., and Annapolis and settled in Cape St. Claire in 1961.
She enjoyed traveling on trips with senior citizens, taking cruises and playing bingo at the Severna Park and Annapolis Elks lodges. Interested in baseball, she was an avid fan of the Orioles and the Oakland Athletics.
In addition to her husband, surviving are three daughters, Lois George of Queenstown, Sherry Ward of Glen Burnie and Terri Lins of Pasadena; three brothers, Alton O'Neal of Gore, Okla., Donald O'Neal of Tracy, Calif., and C.D. O'Neal of California; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her son, William "Rusty" Hilburn, died in 1974.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Thursday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
