Ethel Marie Parker, 67, born and raised in Eastport, MD.
She worked many years as a Carpenter doing everything from framing and ending her Construction career as a trim and cabinet installer. She also worked part time as a bartender for many years and ending her bartending at her favorite place, the American Legion Post 40 in Glen Burnie.
Preceded in death by her parents Harrison "Harry" C. Hallock and Grace Marie Hallock (Phipps)
and her brother James Darryl Ward, all of Deale, Maryland.
Ethel is survived by her loving husband, Joe Zimmerman, of Glen Burnie, her sister, her children, grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
Ethel spent the last two years fears fully battling lung cancer that eventually spread to her brain and liver.
A Memorial Service will be held September 23, 2017 at 3 PM at the American Legion, 500 5th Ave. SE, Glen Burnie, MD.
In Lieu of flowers, please make donations on her behalf to Hospice of the Chesapeake, The American Legion ladies auxiliary at post 40 or lung cancer research.
