Ethel G. "Jerry" Codd, 90, of Severna Park, died of natural causes Feb. 23 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park.
Mrs. Codd was born Sept. 19, 1914, in Baltimore and was raised on a farm in Howard County. She married John E. Codd Sr., who is now deceased, and came to Severna Park in the early 1930s.
A homemaker who loved the color pink, she enjoyed cooking, playing bridge and bowling. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Altar Guild. She also was very active in the Association of Retarded Citizens, now known as ARC.
Surviving are three children, John E. Codd Jr. of Edgewater, Margaret "Peggy" Codd of Pasadena and Michael J. Codd of Arnold; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge.
