Estelle White, 88, a 49-year resident of Severna Park died July 8, 2009 at home following a lengthy illness. She was born February 26, 1921 in Gumpond, MS.
She was an early childhood educator and wrote columns about children. She also co-founded Severna Park Baptist Church in 1960.
Her hobbies included horseback riding and travel.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Ferdinand Joseph White, who died in 1993.
Survivors include her loving sons, Michael White of Sterling, VA and Roger White of Odenton, MD and two dear granddaughters.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 10th from 3-4 pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park MD. Another visitation will be held Monday, July 13th at White Funeral Home, Lumberton Mississippi from 10-11 am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth Street, NW Washington, DC 20006-3517.
