Eric Vaun Leabhart, 49, a 16-year resident of Pasadena, died April 9 at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, due to complications of surgery, after a brief illness.
He was born July 12, 1959, in Baltimore, where he was raised.
Mr. Leabhart was employed as a Crew Leader with Baltimore Gas & Electric Company, where he has worked for the past 25 years.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie. He enjoyed coaching "Upwards" basketball and Green Hornets basketball, loved playing golf and spending time with his children and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Betty Leabhart; and one sister, Patty Leabhart.
Survivors include his wife, Lori F. Leabhart of Pasadena, whom he married June 29, 1985; two sons, Christopher Leabhart and Taylor Leabhart and two daughters, Lauren Leabhart and Brittany Leabhart all of Pasadena; and two brothers, Ned E. Leabhart Jr. of Marietta, Ga. and Kevin Leabhart of Waynesboro, Pa.
Family and friends may visit from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13 at Faith Baptist Church, 7378 E. Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leabhart Children's Scholarship Fund, C/O Provident Bank, 522 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.
