Eric Ireland was born in Cheshire, England to Marjorie and William Ireland. He was one of four children, Philip (& Maureen), Brian (& Sherran), who live in the United Kingdom, and Ian (deceased).
He leaves behind his wife Julie (USA), his three children, Karen, Mark (& Joanne),his son Craig (& Anna). He also leaves behind a step-daughter Katie, whom he loved as his own daughter (all in the UK).
He will be sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren Matthew (& Sharie), Joseph, Chloe, Scarlett, Freddie & Thomas. He also had two great grandchildren Mia & Alfie (Also in the UK).
His extended family include stepdaughters Christi-Anne (& Josh Roach), Fiona Gale and Nicola (& Josh Hunte). He also had three step grandchildren Colby, Emilie & Mason all of whom reside in Barbados in the Caribbean,
His dear friends in the US include Mike & MaryAnn Hinchey, Billy & Debbie Jones, Charlie & Alwyn Taunton, Bill & Beryl McAteer and Bill & Gwen Keith. He will also be greatly missed by his friends of many years, Norman & Maureen Baker who reside in the UK.
Eric was the life and soul of any party, his smile lit up a room and had an incredible sense of humor! He was loved by so many and even those that barely knew him.
United States.. He lived in Severna Park until his passing on September 9th 2020 with his wife at his side.
He will be sadly missed by all of those that love him so dearly!
A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 26, 2020 at 2:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Eric Ireland may be directed to support Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. A limit of 40 people inside the Funeral Home will be closely monitored for a seated funeral service.
Everyone must wear masks or cloth face coverings per the Maryland Mask Order.
If you feel sick, have a fever, or have exposed to someone with coronavirus within the past 14 days, please do not attend any viewing, visitations or services.
