Emily Millhausen

Emily "Millie" Monica Millhausen, 80, of Orlando, Fla., and formerly of Severna Park, died at Florida Hospital in Kissimmee on April 17.

Mrs. Millhausen was born on March 17, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y. In 1949 she married Harry C. Millhausen who died in 2001.

A homemaker, she resided in Severna Park until 2004. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks Lodge 2482, American Legion Post 175 and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Among her survivors are two sons, Mike Millhausen of Arnold and David Millhausen of Loveland, Colo.; two daughters, Kathy Austin of Orlando and Pat Millhausen of Cockeysville; one sister, Stephanie Aleksejus of Fayetteville, Pa.; one brother, John Miltenis of Juno Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7215 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie.
