Emilie Jane Huber Rusinek, a 57 year resident of Severna Park, and a woman of many interests died at age 85 in her home on September 18, 2007.
Born on October 3, 1921, to J. Frederick Huber and Harriet Morris Huber, Mrs. Rusinek was educated in Baltimore. She was married to the late B. Joseph Rusinek for 54 years, during which time they shared interests in competitive field archery, bow hunting, fishing and travel. Mr. Rusinek died in 1995.
A career in banking began at Arundel Federal Savings Bank in 1947. Retiring in 1984, Mrs. Rusinek served as Director Emeritus until her death. Mrs. Rusinek is survived by nieces Susan Cahill and Joanne Coyle, and numerous grand nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband, parents, and sister Eugenia Daugherty.
Visitation is from 3 PM – 7 PM on Sunday at Barranco and Sons Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 AM on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD. Interment will be at the Maryland Veteran's Cemetary in Crownsville, MD immediately following services at St. John the Evangelist church.
