Emilia Tillie Komsa, 98, a 38 year resident of Chartwell, Severna Park died of natural causes on November 26, 2008.

Mrs. Komsa was born on 22 August 1910 in Wallington, NJ and had lived in Florida, California, Washington, D.C., and Winchester, VA prior to settling in Severna Park, where she resided with her daughter's family. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband, John, in his silk screen business prior to his death in 1963.

She is survived by four daughters, June Zeoli of New Haven, CT, Shirley Arnheim of Huntingtown, MD, Constance Herman of Severna Park, MD and Barbara Nester of Seguin, TX; as well as, 18 grandchildren and many great grand children. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Komsa was preceded in death by her son, John Komsa, Jr. who passed away in 1992.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P. A. Severna Park Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held that evening at 7:30pm. The interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery alongside her husband at a later date.
