Elsie Anne Britt Graeber, 78, a resident of Severna Park for 35 years, died of a stroke July 11 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore after a three-week illness.
Mrs. Graeber was born Feb. 21, 1927, in Charleston, W.Va., where she graduated from Charleston High School. She earned a degree from Averett College in Danville, Va.
She was a member of Severna Park United Methodist Church and the Severna Park Republican Women's Club as well as an active volunteer for the Baltimore Symphony Association and the Walters Art Gallery.
Surviving are her husband, Conrad R. Graeber Jr.; one son, Conrad R. Graeber III of Baltimore; one sister, Barbara Britt Bundy of Nashville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Severna Park United Methodist Church, with burial in the church memorial garden. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
