Elsie Dehne

Elsie Hattie Frieda Zinnert Dehne, 95, of Severna Park died Feb. 29 at Genesis Eldercare-Severna Park.

Mrs. Dehne was born Feb. 28, 1913, in Baltimore, where she lived until she moved to Severna Park in 1967.

She worked at Hecht Co. in Baltimore as a clerk, then for Hoschilds-Kohn Department Store, and finally at Hutzlers Southdale.

She was a member of the Severna Park Ladies of the Elk, Meals on Wheels and Hilltoppers at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, Severna Park AARP, Arnold Senior Center, Severna Park Bowling League and the YMCA.

She enjoyed bowling, crocheting and exercising.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara C. Sibley.

Survivors include her husband of 76 years, Charles G. Dehne; one son, Ronald C. Dehne of Essex; one sister, Mildred Woods of Venice, Fla.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery.
