Elizabeth Galli Towers, 52, passed away surrounded by family on May 26, 2017 after a short illness.  Beth was born December 29, 1964 in Annapolis MD to Raymond James and Mary Elizabeth Galli.  She grew up in Severna Park and was a current resident of Millersville.  She received her BA from UMBC.

Beth was predeceased by her parents, her sister Susan Elizabeth Galli and her mother-in-law Janet Taylor Towers.  She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Francis Burkett Towers, and her children Joseph Galli Towers and Matthew Burkett Towers; her sisters Amy Galli McCarron (Vincent), Polly Galli Green (Michael), Maria Raimondi (David Woodard), her brothers Christopher Galli (Deborah DiPaula) and James Galli (Kathy Bell Galli); her father-in-law Robert George Towers, his wife Sieghild B. Towers, sister-in-law Elizabeth Towers Takesian and brother-in-law Scott Towers.  Beth delighted in her extended family of many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.

Beth was devoted to her two sons and enjoyed being part of their active lives.  She enjoyed her work in the title business and was a longtime employee of Hyatt-Weber in Annapolis.  A favorite hobby of Beth's was local history, especially researching the Ridouts of Whitehall, her family by marriage.  She liked live theatre, particularly attending the opera with her mother.

Friends may visit on Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8:00 pm in the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at a later date.
